Top Batting Milestones and Century Makers in BBL 2022/23
Perth Scorchers batter, Aaron Hardie, was the leading run-getter in the 2022/23 season. The right-hander had made 460 runs in the 15 innings at an average of 41.81 with four half-centuries against his name.
Matthew Short of Adelaide Strikers ended the league as the second prolific run-scorer, having amassed 458 runs in 14 innings.

Top Wicket Takers and Milestone Bowling Records
Sydney Sixers’ Sean Abbott has taken the most wickets in the 2022/23 season of the BBL. The pacer picked 29 wickets in 15 innings at an average of 14.03.
Abbott’s tally of 29 wickets makes him the second most prolific bowler in a BBL season. Peter Siddle and Daniel Sams had picked 30 wickets each, which is the most in a single season.
Two bowlers take the second spot, having picked 26 wickets apiece. They are Andrew Tye of the Perth Scorchers and the Brisbane Heat’s Michael Neser.
