The Millrose Games was February 1, 2026.
Cole Hocker, Paris 2025 gold at 1,500 meters, Tokyo gold at 5,000 meters, won the MIllrose 2 mile in spectacular fashion, in 8:07.31 over Josh Kerr, World Indoor gold at 3,000m, World outdoor gold at 1,500 meters, Oly bronze and silver at 1,500 meters, and Parker Wolfe, NCAA 5000m champ, US XC champ and top US finisher at the World Cross, among a stellar field.
The Millrose presserwas Friday, January 30. Jeff Benjamin, senior writer for RunBlogRun and the RunningNetwork asked Cole a provocative question, “Do you have a race that changed the trajectory of your career? What was that race?”
Cole Hocker smiled, thought about it for a second, and responded:
Special thanks to Cole Hocker!
