The visit was intended to inspire the players ahead of one of the season’s most anticipated fixtures.
Kotoko have endured a difficult week, following a 3-1 defeat to Heart of Lions and a subsequent FA Cup exit after a 4-2 penalty shootout loss to Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday.
The FA Cup disappointment also saw head coach Karim Zito resign from his post, leaving the team in search of redemption.
As they prepare to face their archrivals in front of home fans, Kotoko will be eager to bounce back. Kickoff for the eagerly awaited clash is set for 17:00 GMT on Sunday.
