Wheeler Yuta walked into AEW Grand Slam Australia with hair — and walked out with the top of his head shaved off.
At AEW Grand Slam Australia on February 14, 2026, inside Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, the Mixed Tornado Tag Team Match came with a major stipulation: whoever got pinned would have their head shaved. Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm teamed up against Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta in a chaotic bout that had the crowd clearly behind Storm and Cassidy.
In the end, Yuta was the one who got pinned. After the loss, Yuta tried to head up the ramp and avoid the shaving, but that didn’t work at all. Jon Moxley stopped him, pulled him back, and made sure the stipulation was honored.
Luther was waiting for Yuta inside the ring as he shaved the top of Yuta’s head while Moxley and Marina Shafir stood by. Yuta was clearly frustrated as it happened, turning the loss into an even more humiliating moment.
With Wheeler Yuta now essentially bald, only time will tell whether this will lead to resentment towards Jon Moxley and a possible betrayal, as anything could happen in the coming weeks.
