BLAST Renews Partnership With Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports

International tournament organizer BLAST and French Ubisoft announced that they have renewed their global partnership for Rainbow Six Siege Esports.

Financial terms of this renewed deal were not disclosed.

Under the terms of this new deal, BLAST will continue to operate the Rainbow Six Siege global esports ecosystem for the next three years to the end of the 2028-2029 competitive season.

BLAST first signed its deal with Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports in 2023.

Also announced by BLAST and Ubisoft were the official locations for the Rainbow Six esports global events taking place during the 2026-2027 season. Those locations include Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States; and events (in cities to be determined) in Japan and Brazil.

2026-2027 Season events:

  •     BLAST Rainbow Six Major – Salt Lake City, U.S. (May 8-17, 2026)
  •     BLAST Rainbow Six Major – Japan (Nov. 6 – 15, 2026)
  •     Six Invitational 2027 – Brazil (February 2027)

Over the past three years, BLAST and Ubisoft have worked side-by-side to elevate Rainbow Six esports on a global scale, from unforgettable live events to a more competitive and connected ecosystem,” said BLAST CEO Robbie Douek. “Renewing this partnership was a natural next step and sends a strong positive message to fans of BLAST Rainbow 6, and the competitive entertainment industry. With incredible destinations confirmed for the 2026/27 season and exciting plans ahead for the ecosystem, we’re excited to continue in our mission to elevate and improve BLAST Rainbow Six Esports for fans, players, teams and brands.”

In 2026-2027, Rainbow Six Esports will expand to five global regions with the official launch of the CNL for China. CNL introduces a 10‑team professional league and joins the Global Standings system and enters the R6 SHARE program in 2026, becoming eligible for revenue sharing beginning in 2027.
