Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado won the women’s race, the last big event of the winter – before the season ends next weekend. The race still featured a packed startlist, and Alvarado’s late season win was not without due as she had to go through World Champion Lucinda Brand to take the victory. Manon Bakker was third.
Lucinda Brand however was the most consistent throughout the entire season and has not had to break a sweat this weekend to win it; taking the overall win with 13:20 minutes over Manon Bakker and over 21 on Inge van der Heijden.
