With this thumping victory, India also confirmed their place in the Super Eight stage. The team looked sharp with both bat and ball on a tricky pitch.

Ishan Kishan was the star with the bat. He scored 77 off just 40 balls, hitting 10 fours and 3 sixes to hold the innings together.

India lost Abhishek Sharma early after Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha got him out. But Kishan and Tilak Varma added 87 runs and steadied things.

Tilak played smart cricket and rotated the strike well. Kishan attacked the loose balls and kept the scoreboard moving.

In the final overs, Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube played quick cameos. Their late hits helped India reach a strong total of 175 for 7.

Pakistan’s chase never really got going. Hardik Pandya struck in the very first over and removed Sahibzada Farhan.

Jasprit Bumrah then took control. He bowled a perfect yorker to dismiss Saim Ayub and followed it up with a sharp back-of-length ball to send Agha back.

Pakistan were suddenly 13 for 3 and under huge pressure. The Indian bowlers did not let them breathe.

Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav bowled tight lines in the middle overs. Pakistan crawled to 38 for 4 in the Powerplay and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

There was no real partnership from Pakistan. The required run rate kept climbing and the batters looked stuck on the slow surface.

Pakistan were finally bowled out for 114. The Indian players celebrated loudly as the crowd in Colombo enjoyed every moment.

This win once again showed India’s dominance over Pakistan in T20 World Cups. It was a complete team effort and a big statement before the Super Eight stage.
