The Dolphins had a busy Monday releasing not one but two Pro Bowl players.
Miami released wide receiver Tyreek Hill, according to multiple reports. It marks the first time Hill will be an unrestricted free agent in his career.
Hill suffered a dislocated knee and torn ACL in September and was limited to just four games. It’s unclear if he’ll be ready for the 2026 season.
The 31-year-old has spent the last four seasons with the Dolphins. In 54 total games, Hill had 340 receptions for 4,733 yards with 28 touchdowns. He was named a First-Team All-Pro twice.
Before his injury, Hill had 21 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown.
Hill was scheduled to make $36 million in 2026, none of it guaranteed. By releasing him, Miami will save $22.8 million in cap space, but will have $28.2 million in dead money.
Hill’s release was the second of the morning for the Dolphins, who released Pro Bowl star Bradley Chubb earlier in the day.
