Andrade Tells Rey Fenix to Leave WWE for Global Tag Team Run

Andrade and Rey Fenix might not be tag partners right now — but he made it clear he wants Fenix to join him again.

Back in September 2025, after Andrade’s WWE release, he made it clear there was no bad blood between him and Fenix. When a fan asked about their relationship, Andrade responded warmly on Instagram, saying: “Of course!! He was an incredible teammate and friend!” That statement came after reports that WWE had big plans for the duo before Andrade’s exit forced creative to pivot. But now, months later, Andrade is stirring the pot again — and this time, he’s doing it publicly.

On February 16, 2026, Andrade jumped on Twitter and asked fans where he should compete next, teasing a global run. “Usa!🇺🇸 Germany!! 🇩🇪 Japan!🇯🇵 Australia!🇦🇺 Which country is next?”

It didn’t take long for Rey Fenix to enter the conversation. Fenix responded with a supportive message, keeping things friendly: “Keep breaking my brother.” That’s when Andrade took it a step further. He openly encouraged Fenix to join him outside WWE and hinted at a worldwide tag team takeover: “Come on, bro! Let’s take over the world!! Let’s go for all the tag team championships!”

Whether this was just friendly banter or something more, Andrade clearly isn’t ruling out teaming up again — and he’s publicly inviting Fenix to join him on a global run.

Is this just friends hyping each other up — or could we really see Andrade and Rey Fenix reunite somewhere outside WWE? Let us know what you think.
