Vittoria launches Corsa Pro Speed tyre in 30mm width

Italian brand Vittoria has introduced a new size for its ‘fastest’ road tyre, the Corsa PRO Speed 700x30c (30-622). It will be available for retailers to order from Madison from 11^th March with an SRP of £89.99.

The road range now expands with a size developed at the request of World Tour teams and designed to meet the evolving demands of modern high-performance road cycling.

Corsa PRO Speed is part of Vittoria’s ‘Corsa PRO’ road tyre family, the brand’s top-of-the-range road offering, where all models share a supple 320 TPI cotton casing. Within the range, Corsa PRO Speed is optimized for maximum speed, Corsa PRO for all-round racing and Corsa PRO Control is the choice for the most demanding race conditions.

In 2025, Vittoria launched the Corsa Wide Rim range (road tires in size 700x29c), developed with Team Visma | Lease a Bike to optimise wheel–tyre aerodynamics on rims with a 25 mm internal width by reducing microturbulence and increasing speed. While this remains the fastest aero solution for wide rims, the new Corsa PRO Speed 30 mm has been specifically designed to deliver increased grip — particularly in wet conditions — and enhanced comfort without compromising speed.

For the rider, the benefits are clear: a larger air volume and contact patch translate into improved comfort and grip, while offering greater flexibility in setup. The new size is also perfectly suited to modern road bikes, which increasingly feature greater tyre clearance.
