The Wuhan Open is a premier WTA 1000 tournament hosted at the Wuhan International Tennis Centre in China.
Launched in 2014, the event took place annually until 2019, before making its comeback to the WTA Tour in 2024.

This was Sabelenka’s third title in a row having also won in 2019 (defeated Alison Riske 6–3, 3–6, 6–1) and 2018 (defeated Anett Kontaveit 6–3, 6–3).
