A $200,000 grand prize was claimed from a crossword-style lottery game sold in Massachusetts on Tuesday.
The crossword-style game, which costs $5 per ticket to play, was called “$200,000 Elf Cashword.” This was the second top prize to be claimed in the game, leaving just one to be claimed as of Feb. 18.
The winning $200,000 ticket was sold at Redstone Liquors in Stoneham.
Overall, at least 837 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday, including 23 in Springfield, 30 in Worcester and 74 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts so far this year was worth $5 million. It was from a winning “$5,000,000 100X Cashword 2024″ticket sold at a Mobil gas station in Uxbridge that was claimed Jan. 20.
