Over the past few years, I have been working with Bribar Table Tennis (equipment retailer) and JOOLA (brand). We’ve made loads of great content together – videos with high profile players and plenty of equipment reviews and guides.
The good news is that I am continuing my partnership with Bribar Table Tennis, but there will be a change. Instead of using JOOLA equipment, I will now be using TIBHAR equipment.
This is very exciting for me. TIBHAR is one of the leading table tennis companies, both in terms of quality of equipment and also in player sponsorship. Current sponsored players include Felix Lebrun, Alexis Lebrun, Darko Jorgic, Oh Junsung, Bernadette Szocs, Annett Kaufman, Ricardo Walther, Milosz Redzimski and many other players.
Over the past couple of weeks I have been testing a few different blades and rubbers. There are a lot of very good options, so I’m having a tough choice deciding my favourite set-up. For the time being, I’ve narrowed it down to these options…

In addition to these options, TIBHAR will be releasing MX-P and MX-S Infinity rubbers later this year, as well as a Darko Infinity blade. I will be keen to try these out too. So I have plenty of testing still to do. But already I can feel the equipment is giving me some extra spin and speed potential. My opponents had better watch out. My game is about to get an upgrade!
Equipment advice and recommendations
I know how overwhelming it can feel for many amateur players when deciding what rubbers and blades to use. There is just so much choice. So my plan is to become a TIBHAR equipment nerd. I’m going to test out lots of blades and rubbers so I can help players make informed decisions on what to use.
I’ll be creating plenty of reviews and guides, both articles and videos. I will be developing a ‘bat recommender’ tool for my website, which will help players decide what TIBHAR equipment to use based upon their level and playing style.
I’ll also be providing a more in-depth equipment recommendation service via my online academy. And I will be providing the opportunity for players to test out TIBHAR equipment in coaching sessions and training camps.

With so many top players sponsored by TIBHAR, there is lots of opportunity to make some really great video coaching content. We are still formulating plans, but you will be seeing some top names on my YouTube channel over the coming months and years.
It will be great for us mere mortals to learn from some of the best players in the world. Imagine playing with the speed of Felix Lerbun or having the backhand power of Darko Jorgic? I’m going to unpick how the pros play with such quality and how amateur players can try to emulate them.
