Ja Morant has been one-upping sneaker leakers by unveiling Nike Ja 3 himself on Instagram, and now that’s extended to Ja’s inner circle. Here we have a never-before-seen Nike Ja 3 “Mardi Gras” shared on the holiday by a coach from Ja’s Twelve Time basketball program.
Primed for Bourbon Street, the sneaker features a lively purple color across the midsole and upper detailing, contrasted by golden yellow on the lining and claw cutouts. The base adds even more energy, executed in a gradient that fades from green into yellow. A metallic gold Swoosh with green outlining completes the look.
It remains to be seen whether the Ja 3 “Mardi Gras” will release, but the style surfacing on as opposed to before the holiday suggests the window for a drop may have already passed. The more likely scenario is that the sneaker is a Friends & Family exclusive. We’ll circle back with an update if proven otherwise.
