In the M15 Naples, FL the already famous, ambidextrous Teodor Davidov earned his first ATP point. He earned two wins through qualifying and won in straight sets vs ranked players. Then he won again in the main draw. The three victories by the teen phenom who trains at Inspiration Academy in Bradenton, FL means he will be the youngest player in the ATP World Tour rankings at 15 years and five months.
Davidov, sponsored by Yonex attires, shoes and racquets, uses a lefty and right forehand and also serves lefty and righty.
In the first round of main draw Davidov beat Germany’s John Sperle 75 64. In the second round he will face Brazil’s Karue Sell. In the qualis draw, the American of Bulgaria descent, defeated no. 1 seed Chris Li of Peru 76 75 and the 12 seed Nikolas Stoot 75 63.
Davidov has an ATP ranking of 2058 in doubles and as of now he has no ATP ranking in singles but these three victories will add him into the singles rankings next Monday. Davidov is set to become the youngest player with an ATP singles ranking.
In December 2025, Davidov defeated former ATP player Peter Polansky in the final of a UTR money tournament in Bradenton, in straight sets.
