Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has charged his players to focus on winning their upcoming Ghana Premier League matches rather than dwell on their position on the league table.
The Phobians last Sunday secured an important 1-0 victory over rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Having amassed maximum points from that Super Clash, the capital-based club moved to second on the league table and are now just five points behind league leaders Medeama SC.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of Hearts of Oak’s next league match against Berekum Chelsea, Didi Dramani noted that he is not paying attention to the team’s place on the league table.
He insists that his team must continue working hard and winning their matches if they want to end the 2025/26 season as league champions.
“We are doing our best to compete for every trophy that is at stake. I don’t think about our position on the league table. We just need to continue winning and be consistent,” Didid Dramani told Max TV.
Hearts of Oak’s upcoming league match against Berekum Chelsea will be played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 22, and will kick off at 3:30 pm.
