KTM X-Bow GT2 and Laguna Seca coming to Rennsport

KTM X-Bow GT2 and Laguna Seca coming to Rennsport

The sim racing title has some new models and circuits on the way.

Traxion is currently in Munich to see what Rennsport has in store in 2026, and before the main course is served, a KTM-shaped aperitif has been spotted.

The X-Bow GT2 – a longer and closed-roof version of the first two-seater roadster – is on display at the event, with surrounding posters showing the model in the game’s graphics engine.

It features a distinctive ‘jetfighter-style’ canopy and a mid-mounted Audi-spurced five cylinder engine.

A road-going GTX was on display in person, but the poster nearby actually confirms that the race-spec GT2 model is the one for the game. It means this new race class will join the likes of GT3, GT4 and LMDh. The Porsche Cayman GT4 is also confirmed. It’s not clear when they will make the game, or if these are free or DLC.

The Porsche is spotted racing a field of GT4 cars around WeatherTech Laguna Seca. The Californian venue is new to the racing game, known predominately for its downhill Corkscrew turn.

This news follows the announcement of Hyundai’s hydrogen concept car (free) and Peugeot’s 9X8 hypercar (DLC) for the sim racing title. There’s also the Endurance Classics and Touring Classics DLC packs. These announcements seemingly mark the start of a stream of content for the car and track-lite release.

Traxion will report over the weekend if there are further announcements.
