18 YOUNG BUCCS FEATURE IN CONNACHT SQUADS
BUCCANEERS had a highly creditable number of young players feature in Connacht squads during the week. 18 Pirates were involved in Connacht Provincial Talent Squads, evenly spread at 6 each in the U-18.5, U-17 and U-16 sides.
The U-16 squad defeated a Galway Region panel 24-19 at The Green, Creggs, while the U-17s enjoyed a more significant victory, defeating a Munster selection 58-24 at the Dexcom Stadium. The U-18.5 squad also faced Munster in Galway where they lost narrowly 28-20.
Overall, it was a proud day for Buccaneers to have so many promising players feature in these fixtures. The future looks bright at the club. Well done, guys!
