According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, top WWE NXT star Sol Ruca, who has been gaining popularity recently, is set to undergo a slight character refresh ahead of her anticipated move to the WWE main roster. The report indicates that this character refresh will include the introduction of a new entrance theme song. Additionally, many of Ruca’s internal supporters believe that her time in NXT is coming to an end, and a main roster call-up is expected soon.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp previously mentioned that Ruca is tentatively scheduled to be in the Chicago area around the time of WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, although this has not yet been confirmed. The event is set for Saturday, February 28th, at the United Center.
Currently, Ruca is still part of the NXT roster. She and ZARIA achieved a significant victory on last week’s episode of NXT TV by defeating WrenQC, which consists of WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair. With this win, Ruca has earned a shot at the WWE NXT Women’s Title, currently held by Jacy Jayne. The title match is scheduled to take place on next week’s episode of NXT, airing live on The CW on Tuesday, February 24th.
