Backstage Update on Anna Jay’s Expiring AEW Contract Status

As noted before, Anna Jay’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire at some point this Spring.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that Jay “hasn’t been around” backstage at AEW shows for the past few months.

Sapp reported that Jay has contacts in WWE and NXT and is currently “willing to talk to them” if things get to that point for her next contract and future of her wrestling career.

Sapp also reported that there has been no word at this point as to what AEW’s stance on Jay’s contract is as of this moment.

Tony Khan Comments on London Being His Favorite Place In The World To Have A Wrestling Event

talkSPORT held a recent interview with AEW CEO Tony Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about AEW’s upcoming All In 2026 event in London and how London is his favorite place in the world to have a wrestling event.

“I can’t wait for AEW to return in August to Wembley Stadium. There’s more announcements to come. I can’t wait to talk about when we’ll put the tickets on sale, all the events. I can’t wait to return for AEW all in London. It’s my favorite place in the world to have a wrestling event. I’ve had so many of my greatest memories in my life, whether it’s Jacksonville Jaguars, Fulham Football Club, or All Elite Wrestling. We’ve had some incredible days and nights at Wembley Stadium, and I can’t wait to return this August for AEW All In London, where All Elite Wrestling set the world record for the most tickets ever sold for any wrestling event. We sold over 81,000 tickets for AEW All In London, and we’re going to be back this August for the Bank Holiday weekend. It’s going to be incredible.”
