Eddie Hearn has revealed a possible timeline for the return of Anthony Joshua following his recent car accident.
Anthony Joshua is one of the best and most accomplished heavyweights of his generation and that much is obvious. With that being said, many are eager to see him step in there against more legitimate competition in the wake of recent wins over the likes of Francis Ngannou and, most notably, Jake Paul.

However, Joshua was involved in a road accident recently in which two of his close friends were killed. Understandably, he’s made the decision to take some time away from the sport and recover, both physically and mentally.
In a recent interview with Boxing Scene, his promoter Eddie Hearn gave an update on when we can realistically expect to see Joshua back in the ring.
Hearn discusses Joshua’s possible comeback timeline
“Originally the plan with ‘AJ’ was for him to fight in March and then fight Tyson Fury in August,” Hearn told BoxingScene. “That’s not happening. He’s not fighting Tyson Fury next. He’s going to come back, I believe, in late summer, but physically he’s not yet in a position to return to camp.
“So, I’m planning, but he’s just resting and preparing. So, for me, I’m looking at options to get him back in the ring in July time, but we’ll only know if that’s a real possibility when he returns to camp, which will hopefully be in the next couple of weeks or a month.”
