Liv Morgan isn’t letting Tom Brady’s “WWE is cute” remark slide — and she made that clear while addressing the topic head-on.
With Logan Paul and Brady currently going back and forth ahead of their Fanatics Flag Football Classic matchup, Morgan stepped in with her own take during an appearance on the Going Ringside podcast. While the social media feud between Paul and Brady set the stage, Morgan made sure the focus stayed on defending WWE and what its performers bring to the table.
She admitted she had seen Brady’s comments but didn’t initially give them much weight — before turning the conversation into a statement about how WWE talent is often misunderstood.
“I think I might have read about it here and there, but I did not pay any mind to it because although a lot of people in WWE are cute, there’s so much more to WWE than I think people understand and realize.”
From there, Morgan doubled down on the idea that WWE Superstars are capable of thriving outside the ring — even in other professional sports.
“And no disrespect to any sport out there, but I feel like you can take a WWE star and perhaps put them on the football field and they will make it do. We will get it done.”
She then flipped the argument directly back at Brady and NFL players, questioning whether they could handle what WWE requires on a regular basis.
“But can you take a football star and put them in a WWE ring and can they do everything that we do? I don’t know. I don’t know about that.”
Morgan closed things out with a line that has quickly started making the rounds online, turning Brady’s original comment right back on him.
“So, you know, I think football is actually kind of cute. I think football’s cute.”
While Brady and Logan Paul continue their public back-and-forth ahead of March 21, Morgan’s comments shift the conversation into a bigger debate about athleticism, versatility, and respect between sports. Her response doesn’t just defend WWE — it puts its performers in direct comparison with some of the biggest athletes in the world.
With voices now coming from inside WWE, this discussion is only picking up more attention. Do you think Liv Morgan made a valid point about WWE talent, or does Tom Brady still have the edge in this argument? Let us know what you think.
