WWE has officially confirmed that 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan will finalize her championship choice for WrestleMania 42 during the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw. The announcement follows weeks of cross-brand appearances as Morgan evaluated her options on both the red and blue brands.
Liv Morgan secured her guaranteed title match by winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble. Following her win, Morgan appeared on the February 2 episode of Raw alongside Dominik Mysterio to address her status. The Championship Options: Vaquer vs. Cargill
Morgan’s decision involves choosing between the two top champions in the women’s division:
- Stephanie Vaquer (Women’s World Champion – Raw): Morgan has already engaged in physical confrontations with Vaquer. On the February 2 episode of Raw, Morgan delivered an

to the champion after a successful title defense, posing with the championship belt to signal her interest. - Jade Cargill (WWE Women’s Champion – SmackDown): Morgan also visited SmackDown to confront Cargill, highlighting the fact that she was the first person in WWE to pin the champion.
A complicating factor in Morgan’s decision is her current alliance with Raquel Rodriguez. While the two have worked together, Morgan eliminated Rodriguez from the Royal Rumble match, and Rodriguez has publicly stated her own intent to challenge Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship.
The February 23 episode of Raw will broadcast live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to Morgan’s announcement, there will be a celebration of the career of AJ Styles with talent from SmackDown reportedly being flown in for the occasion.
