Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior will expect his side to pick up all three points against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Englishman guided his side to four consecutive wins in the league at the start of his tenure, before being held to a 2-2 draw by Leeds United in their last outing in the competition.
The Blues returned to winning ways against Rosenior’s former side, Hull City, in the FA Cup fourth round last week, and he will hope to see them build on that performance when they host the Clarets.
In the meantime, it has emerged that Chelsea are set to rival one of La Liga’s biggest clubs in the race to sign an in-form Ligue 1 star.
As per Fichajes, via CaughtOffside, Atletico Madrid will face competition from Chelsea in their efforts to sign Strasbourg attacker Joaquin Panichelli.
The report claims that the Spanish side are interested in the Argentine, who has scored 14 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Chelsea, however, are also interested in the forward, and could benefit from the fact that they are owned by the same group – BlueCo – as Strasbourg.
Panichelli, 23, joined Strasbourg from Spanish side Alaves last summer and is enjoying a fine debut season in France.
Atletico boss Diego Simeone has already informed those in charge of the Spanish side that he wants to sign the Argentine, it is claimed.
Several players have moved between Chelsea and Strasbourg in recent seasons, though, including current Blues star Andrey Santos, and that likely gives the London outfit a huge boost in their pursuit of the striker.
Strasbourg are set to make a significant profit on the fee of around £14 million that they paid to sign Panichelli last summer, in part due to his 14 goals and four assists so far this term.
