Earlier this month, Kayla Nicole was criticized by social media for seemingly using her romance with the NFL ace to desperately cling on to fame in a Super Bowl ad.
Now, during a TikTok live conversation with ‘Love Island’ star Ace Greene, Nicole said the reason her romance with Kelce failed was down to ‘right person, wrong time’.
When asked why she and the Super Bowl winner went their separate ways, Nicole said: ‘Who knows? Could be compatibility issues, right person, wrong time.’
When asked when her last relationship was, she answered: ‘Probably, like, three years ago now. It’s been a long time.’
The couple eventually called it quits in May 2022 after a five-year on-again, off-again romance.

Fans blasted Nicole earlier this month for her appearance in a Super Bowl ad where she appeared to diss the Chiefs tight end and Swift.
The video ad for the fantasy sports app Sleeper starred comedian Tiffany Haddish and NBA star Ben Simmons promoting their business ‘Simmons and Haddish’ to help people getting ‘ex-communicated’ from their exes after a celebrity breakup.
Nicole’s role saw the script take aim at Swift and Kelce, identifying her in the ad by name and as the ‘Ex of a certain NFL player.’
Fans who saw the ad roasted Nicole for her inability to move on from the relationship that ended nearly four years ago.
