WWE’s latest round of NXT name changes is already hitting the live event circuit.
After filing several new trademarks this week, WWE has now officially rolled out at least two of those identities — and one of them debuted in the ring over the weekend.
Romeo Moreno has been confirmed as the new ring name for Jaime Garcia, who previously competed as Zozaya before signing with WWE. Moreno stepped into the spotlight at an NXT live event, teaming with Malik Blade in a tag match where they defeated Dorian Van Dux and Harlem Lewis.
That wasn’t the only new identity confirmed. Dorian Van Dux is now officially the new name for Mike Derudder, who had been known on the independent scene as Mike D Vecchio. Van Dux was also one of the recently trademarked names WWE secured, and his live event appearance solidifies the switch.
Another previously reported change has also been verified. Tristan Angels is confirmed to be the new name for Nathaniel Cranton, formerly known as Nathan Angel.
All three talents — Romeo Moreno, Dorian Van Dux, and Tristan Angels — were part of WWE’s October 2025 signing class, which also included Elio LeFleur and Dusan Novakovic.
As for the remaining newly trademarked names, Kai Kavari, CJ Valor, and Santi Rivera have yet to be linked to specific talent. WWE has a history of rebranding prospects early in their developmental runs, so more confirmations could be coming soon.
With the live event debuts now underway, it’s clear WWE is moving forward with its latest wave of NXT rebranding. The question now is how quickly these new identities transition to television.
