ABC7 in San Francisco is reporting that a 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the fatal shooting a mother and her son, 28-year old Evan Simonds at a home in Pleasanton early this week. Simonds was an independent pro wrestler, bases in California who wrestled under the in-ring name of Lars Luger.
The report notes the shooting was reported last Wednesday just after 10:00 am local time and that according to Pleasanton police, after officers entered the home, they found 67-year-old Lori Simonds and Evan Simonds dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Furthermore, ABC7 states that investigators ended up finding multiple firearms in the suspects vehicle and at his home and that it was also determined he was in a recent relationship with a family member of the victims.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help Simond’s sister.
