Refinery Games has announced 2112TD: Earth, a follow-up to its tower defense game 2112TD.
The reveal came with a debut gameplay trailer and the launch of the official Steam page, where fans of the first game can wishlist the sequel now.
2112TD: Earth Trailer Unleashes Fleshomorph Horrors
The teaser shows the Fleshomorph threat from the first game has now reached Earth, and the player must once again take on the role of Commander to rally the remains of Earth’s forces in a desperate campaign to repel the horrifying invasion.
The game will feature a new 18-mission campaign set on Earth, with decimated cities and remote research facilities serving as the backdrop for warfare against the bio-organic threat.
Beyond that, there’s an expanded roster of turrets to deploy, overhauled systems for Drones, Gore, Damage, Armour, and Shields, plus multiple new research and field upgrades, difficulty options, and a relentless Endless Survival mode.
There’s currently no set release date for 2112TD: Earth, but we do know it will be available on PC, Steam Deck, and mobile. The developer was quick to note that this is a premium title that will not feature ads or paid boosters.
