The Road to WrestleMania has been a bumpy one for The Vision. Paul Heyman’s group has seen Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker go down to injuries since last year. Now, you can add another Vision member to the DL list, as Bronson Reed tore his bicep during Raw on February 23, 2026. This caused a huge change in plans, as Bronson Reed was scheduled to win and head into the Elimination Chamber. Here’s the latest on Bronson Reed’s bicep injury.
AJ Styles to Enter WWE Hall of Fame
Last night’s Raw came from Atlanta, Georgia, as the world witnessed The Undertaker announce that AJ Styles will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. AJ Styles’ family was on hand to celebrate, including his son, who has had choice words about how Triple H treats his dad in the past. We wonder if he knows R-Truth’s son. They probably have a lot to talk about!
AJ Styles will join Stephanie McMahon in the 2026 Hall of Fame class. Stephanie McMahon’s induction announcement was also handled by The Undertaker. It also drew criticisms from loved ones, as Stephanie McMahon’s nephew had choice words for her being enshrined before Shane.
While there were plenty of reasons to celebrate in Atlanta, one person found themselves in a less festive mood than others. Bronson Reed tore his bicep during a Triple Threat Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Now, The Vision’s WrestleMania plans are even more up in the air than they were before…epecially since Bronson Reed was supposed to win his match on Raw in Atlanta.
Bronson Reed Tears Bicep Breaking Up Pin
Bronson Reed, Jey Uso, and The Original El Grande Americano faced off in a Triple Threat Match to determine who would enter the Elimination Chamber Match. In the end, Main Event Jey Uso punched his ticket to Chicago.
However, that wasn’t the original plan. Big Bronson Reed was supposed to pick up the big win. Unfortunately for the Australian Superstar, he wasn’t able to finish the match.
During the climax of the encounter, the OG Americano hit a Flying Headbutt from across the ring onto Jey Uso. Bronson Reed broke up the count just in time…but may have done more damage than good.
As Bronson flew into Chad Gable’s body, his right arm collided with the fake luchador’s ribs, staying in place for a blip. Meanwhile, Bronson Reed’s body continued to tumble over the scene. This seemingly trivial move actually caused an injury to Bronson Reed, and the big man knew it right away.
Bronson Reed was seen shaking his arm slightly. He then whispered to Americano, who secured him for a slow German Suplex. As he gets lifted, you can see Bronson Reed brace to take the bump on his left side.
Immediately, Reed rolled to his back and tapped his right bicep to notify the referee. Raw immediately went to commercial break as the match continued in Atlanta.
Bronson Reed Suffers Distal Bicep Tear
When Raw came back, Michael Cole informed the audience that Bronson Reed was indeed injured. The production truck played back the footage and even showed The Vision member writhing in pain at ringside as the medical staff checked on him.
Later in the show, Michael Cole confirmed the bad news. Bronson Reed endured a distal bicep tear. The extent of Bronson Reed’s torn bicep is unknown, but it’s not looking good for WrestleMania.
Athletes with distal bicep tears face anywhere from four to six months of recovery. This timeline can be even longer if Bronson Reed suffered a complete distal bicep tear.
Bronson Reed’s Injury Shakes Up WrestleMania Plans
The Road to WrestleMania has seen a lot of swerves. Original plans called for Roman Reigns to face The Vision’s leader, Seth Rollins. When Seth Rollins went down with an injury, Bron Breakker stepped up to be the face of the faction.
Bron Breakker was originally going to win the Royal Rumble, but plans changed, and that might have been for the best. Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble, setting up his match against CM Punk. Meanwhile, Bron Breakker would suffer a serious hernia injury when he flipped an announce table on Raw. This caused his rumored match against a returning Seth Rollins to go up in the air.
Bronson Reed’s WrestleMania plans weren’t set in stone. However, he was expected to be a big part of the Elimination Chamber Match this Saturday. With Bronson Reed’s bicep tear, WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso is taking his place.
Neither Reed nor Uso was or is expected to win the Chamber Match, with Cody Rhodes earmarked as a heavy favorite. The American Nightmare is expected to face Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. Rumors are circulating that Jacob Fatu might get added to the mix to make it a Triple Threat Match.
Regardless, these creative changes and injuries are why WWE has put the brakes on some stars. For instance, Royce Keys’ WrestleMania plans are in jeopardy, as all hands are on deck to replace the current stars who are out on injury.
