Liv Morgan Chooses Vaquer; Raquel Rodriguez Rounds Out Elimination Chamber

The 2026 Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan, arrived on Raw this week to deliver an important decision. She has made her choice of who she wants to face this April at WrestleMania 42.

It’s been nearly a month since Morgan won the Rumble, and she intentionally took her time before making a decision. Last week, the Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, left Morgan in tears. Vaquer told her she had been privileged, that opportunities were handed to her, while Vaquer had to fight and claw for everything she achieved.

Morgan admitted those words struck a nerve. She realized Vaquer was right. She has had access to the best WWE has to offer: top-tier medical care, elite coaching, and world-class training. She apologized to Vaquer, acknowledging she hadn’t fully understood her journey. But now, Morgan says, it’s time to focus on her own story.

Morgan turned to the WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill who also joined them in the ring. After a quick stare down and a fake out, Morgan turned to deliver a punch right to the face of Vaquer cementing her decision. She would continue to apply pain to Vaquer while Cargill stood by and left the ring. Finally, an ObLIVion was delivered to the champion which laid her out. Dominik Mysterio handed Morgan the women’s belt for her to hold up high and make a statement.

The last woman has been determined for the Elimination Chamber match this weekend on Feb. 27. That woman is Raquel Rodriguez. The winner of the Elimination Chamber match will go on to WrestleMania to face Jade Cargill.

Rodriguez qualified in a match against Kairi Sane and IYO SKY. A match which highlighted the quickness of former tag team partners Sane and SKY, while showcasing Rodriguez’s strength. Unfortunately for the former Sky Pirates, Rodriguez’s strength with the Tejana Bomb on Sane was what gave her the advantage and the win. Rodriguez makes the field of six full. She will be joining Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Asuka, and Kiana James.

A backstage moment happened between Sane and Asuka after Sane’s loss. She apologized for not being inside the chamber to help her. However, Asuka was actually pleased at Sane for not qualifying as she kept SKY out of the chamber match and away from winning.

A vignette aired of Becky Lynch saying some final words to AJ Lee before their match this Saturday. Lynch basically trying to diminish Lee’s worth by saying she’s only won one “butterfly title.” This will he Lee’s first singles match in a decade and first title match in 11 years.

Lastly, we had a rematch between Maxxine Dupri and Nattie. Much like their first match, it didn’t last very long and it had to be stopped due to Dupri getting knocked out by hitting the ring post. Nattie attempted to continue the beating on Dupri, but the referee called for the bell to stop the match. Nattie was declared the winner.

As mentioned earlier, Elimination Chamber takes place this Saturday, Feb. 28. Below are the matches confirmed.

  • WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Becky Lynch (c) vs. AJ Lee
  • Women’s Elimination Chamber – Tiffany Stratton vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka vs. Kiana James vs. Raquel Rodriguez
