The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have revealed a brand new logo and identity on February 24, 2026, just before the IPL 2026 season.
The team has moved away from its old blue theme and adopted a bold red colour scheme. The change is meant to signal a fresh start after a tough previous season.
The new logo features three key symbols, a Garuda, a Crown and an Elephant. Each one carries a strong message for the franchise and its fans.
The Garuda stands for courage and the desire to rise higher in the tournament. It reflects the team’s ambition to compete strongly in the coming season.

The Crown symbolises pride and responsibility. It represents the hopes of millions of supporters who back the team across Uttar Pradesh and beyond.
At the centre of the logo is the Elephant. It stands for strength, wisdom and the loyal support of fans in the state, especially in Lucknow.
The design has drawn clear inspiration from the Manchester Super Giants, another team owned by the RPSG Group that plays in The Hundred in the UK.
Some fans were quick to point out similarities with older teams like the Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Reactions on social media have been mixed, with some loving the bold red look and others unsure about the change.
Owner Shashwat Goenka said the rebranding is a tribute to the love shown by the people of Lucknow. He added that it is a “promise” from the franchise to compete with heart and give their best every season.
The new identity will be seen everywhere from IPL 2026. It will feature on team jerseys, merchandise and all digital platforms.
The rebranding also comes after LSG finished seventh last season. With Rishabh Pant continuing as captain, the franchise will hope this new look brings better results on the field.
