The NXT Women’s Championship chaos didn’t end when the show went off the air — it spilled straight onto social media. After shocking fans by attacking Sol Ruca before her title match against Jacy Jayne, Zaria stayed quiet immediately following the six-second disaster. But that silence didn’t last long.
In an update after the February 24 episode of NXT, Zaria responded to a fan theory online — and her message made it clear she’s not backing down from the fallout. Replying to a post that claimed she wasn’t the villain in the situation, Zaria wrote:
“Took the words right out of my mouth”
The fan post she endorsed argued that Sol Ruca had been using Zaria from the beginning and that Zaria had done everything for Sol without getting the same loyalty in return. The message suggested that once Sol lost her titles, “the real her came out.”
By co-signing that take, Zaria is effectively reframing the narrative. Instead of portraying herself as the aggressor who cost Sol Ruca a championship opportunity, she appears to be positioning herself as the one who was wronged first.
The betrayal led directly to Jacy Jayne retaining her title in record time — and Jayne wasted no time mocking the situation online. But now the focus is shifting to the fractured ZaRuca partnership and whether Zaria believes her actions were justified.
With tensions clearly boiling over, the NXT Women’s Division may have just gained a heated rivalry to replace what was once a rising alliance.
