TSN: Trade interest in Vancouver Canucks center Elias has been renewed and the Canucks are hoping that offers worth considering start to come in, according to Darren Dreger. It hasn’t gotten there yet, and the Canucks haven’t approached Pettersson, though his camp is well aware what is going on.
“I can tell you that Pettersson’s agents from CAA are well aware of the trade discussions that are happening around their player, but they’re not going to include Pettersson, who has a no-move clause, until it gets to a point where there is a potential deal. So it’s still early, but there is a bit more buzz around Pettersson now.”

Jonathan Toews and Logan Stanley don’t want to go anywhere
Murat Ates of The Athletic: The Winnipeg Jets are 11 points out of the playoff race, and teams would have interest in Jets UFA forward Jonathan Toews. He’s on a bonus-laden, one-year deal with a full no-movement clause. Toews though, has no interest in playing elsewhere.
“I wouldn’t consider going anywhere,” Toews told The Athletic during a wide-ranging, one-on-one interview Monday. “I want to keep playing for this team.”
Toews isn’t giving up on the season. He’s eligible to sign an extension for next season, but isn’t thinking that far ahead just yet.
“I’m not thinking about that at all. I’m obviously thankful for the opportunity that the Jets organization and coaching staff have given me to be able to play in the NHL again. It was an adjustment period this year, but I want to keep playing for this team.”
