London, UK (February 24th, 2026) — Leigh Wood, 37, (29-4, 17 KOs) defeated Josh Warrington, 35, (32-5-1, 8 KOs) by a wide unanimous decision in their rematch on February 21, 2026, at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, effectively ending their rivalry. Judges scored the fight 119-109, 119-110, and 117-111, with Wood dominating most rounds using superior movement and sharp boxing, following their previous 2023 encounter.

After the victory, Wood hinted that this might be his last fight, reflecting on the difficulty of being away from his children.

Following his fifth career loss, Warrington suggested he might retire, noting that “something felt off” and mentioning it is a tough sport to be second-best in.
