Demi Vollering shares “everything but Roubaix” race calendar

Demi Vollering is planning a busy spring. The latest of cycling’s stars to announce spring campaign plans, from Classics to the Tours, FDJ Suez’s top rider is planning on keeping busy.

The reigning European champion will start her Classics campaign this weekend, joining a stacked field at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. After that, Vollering will head to Italy to attempt to defend her 2025 win at Strade Bianche.

The Dutch rider be back on home turf next for the Across Flanders and Ronde van Vlaanderen duo. A trio of Amstel Gold, Fleche Wallonie and Liegé Bastogne Liège will wrap up Vollering’s Classics racing.

Notably absent from that list is, of course, Paris-Roubaix. The Monument continues to elude Vollering’s attention for another year.

Tour time, then Montreal

Once the one day races die down, Vollering really gets busy. First she’ll lead FDJ-Suez into the Giro d’Italia, where she’ll try improve on her third place GC finish from 2021. After Italy, she’ll race Tour de Suisse.

Then it’s back to France in August. Vollering will try to reclaim the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, after finishing second to Pauline Ferrand-Prevot in 2025. PFP’s stated her intent to hold on to her home country’s Tour, so August should give us an exciting showdown between to of cycling’s biggest icons.

Finally, Vollering will trade in her trade team colours for the Dutch national kit and head to Canada. The European champ will try add rainbows to her kit. That will put her up against Canada’s own reigning champ, Magdeleine Vallières-Mill.
