We got an email today letting us know that Ritchey Bikes is going to be at the Philly Bike Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on March 14th and 15th.
We hadn’t heard much about the Philly Bike Expo before this announcement, so we decided to see what companies are going to be exhibiting there. You can check the link farther down to see the companies that will be there.
Most of the companies, with a few exceptions, seem to be smaller companies, and we got the impression that the show is mostly aimed at road bike enthusiasts.
However, if Tom Ritchey shows up, visitors to the Philly Bike Show can meet one of the founding fathers of mountain biking.

Ritchey is heading back to the Philly Bike Expo, March 14-15 at the PA Convention Center — Hall F. If you’re going to be there too, we’d like to see you, so drop by booth 325 and say, “Hi!”

Some of the companies that will have exhibits at the show include, Kenda Tires, Schwalbe Tires, Wren Sports, Appleman Bicycles, Bingham Built Inc., Chumba USA, Fine Bikes, Haute Bicycle Company, Hoff Cycles, Moots Cycles, and Priority Bicycles.
Jersey Off Road Bicycle Association and New Jersey NICA will also have booths at the show.
There will also be seminars and workshops at the event. There will be a workshop on titanium welding, and there will be a class on “The Importance of Torque Wrenches.”
It doesn’t look like many large-scale bike manufacturers will be exhibiting there.
