2026 A10WBB Clinching Scenarios for the Regular Season Finale

Welcome to the final weekend of the Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball regular season! As we enter the final day of games, there is a LOT to still be decided! Rhode Island, George Mason, and Richmond all still have a shot of at least a share of the Regular Season title, while Rhode Island can still win the title outright. Only three of the 14 teams have clinched their seed already!

Here’s how the standings currently stack up!

Rhode Island:

Clinches 1-seed with a win over GW OR a George Mason loss to Duquesne

Clinches 2-seed with a loss to GW AND a George Mason win over Duquesne

George Mason:

Clinches 1-seed with a win over Duquesne AND a Rhode Island loss to GW

Clinches 2-seed with a win over Duquesne AND a Rhode Island win over GW OR with a loss to Duquesne AND a Rhode Island loss to GW AND a Richmond loss to Saint Joseph’s

Clinches 3-seed with a loss to Duquesne AND a Richmond win over Saint Joseph’s

Richmond:

Clinches 2-seed with a win over Saint Joseph’s AND a George Mason loss to Duquesne

Clinches 3-seed with a loss to Saint Joseph’s OR a George Mason win over Duquesne

Davidson:

Clinched 4-seed

Clinches 9-seed with a loss to VCU AND a GW win over Rhode Island

George Washington:

Clinches 8-seed with a win over Rhode Island AND a Dayton loss to VCU

Clinches 9-seed with a win over Rhode Island AND a Dayton win over VCU OR with a loss to Rhode Island AND a St. Bonaventure loss to Fordham. Alternatively, IF George Mason finishes higher than Richmond, GW finishes 9th even with a loss to Rhode Island AND a St. Bonaventure win over Fordham.

Clinches 10-seed with a loss to Rhode Island AND a St. Bonaventure win over Fordham ONLY IF Richmond finishes ahead of George Mason. IF George Mason finishes ahead of Richmond, GW would finish no worse than the 9-seed. Because of the circumstantial nature of this scenario, it is reflected in pink in the above graphic.

St. Bonaventure:

Clinches 9-seed with a win over Fordham AND a GW loss to Rhode Island ONLY IF Richmond finishes ahead of George Mason. IF George Mason finishes ahead of Richmond, St. Bonaventure would finish no higher than the 10-seed. Because of the circumstantial nature of this scenario, it is reflected in pink in the above graphic.

Clinches 10-seed with a win over Fordham OR with a loss to Fordham AND a Saint Louis loss to Davidson. Alternatively, IF George Mason finishes higher than Richmond, St. Bonaventure finishes 10th even with a win over Fordham AND a GW loss to Rhode Island.

Clinches 11-seed with a loss to Fordham AND a Saint Louis win over Davidson.

Saint Louis:

Clinches 10-seed with a win over Davidson AND a St. Bonaventure loss to Fordham.

Clinches 11-seed with a win over Davidson AND a St. Bonaventure win over Fordham OR with a loss to Davidson AND a Duquesne loss to George Mason AND a VCU loss to Dayton.

Clinches 12-seed with a loss to Davidson AND a Duquesne win over George Mason AND a VCU loss to Dayton.

Clinches 13-seed with a loss to Davidson AND a Duquesne win over George Mason AND a VCU win over Dayton.

Duquesne:

Clinches 11-seed with a win over George Mason AND a Saint Louis loss to Davidson AND a VCU loss to Dayton.

Clinches 12-seed with a win over George Mason AND a Saint Louis win over Davidson OR with a loss to George Mason AND a VCU loss to Dayton.

Clinches 13-seed with a loss to George Mason AND a VCU win over Dayton

VCU:

Clinches 11-seed with a win over Dayton AND a Saint Louis loss to Davidson

Clinches 12-seed with a win over Dayton AND a Saint Louis win over Davidson

Clinches 13-seed with a win over Dayton AND a Duquesne win over George Mason OR with a loss to Dayton.

Fordham:

Clinched 14-seed.
