Eddie Hearn FIRES BACK at Dana White calling him a p**sy

Eddie Hearn has fired back at Dana White after the Zuffa Boxing head labelled him a “p**sy” following Conor Benn’s decision to join his stable.

In a bombshell move, Benn switched from Hearn’s Matchroom to White’s Zuffa Boxing in a one-fight deal worth $15m.

Hearn accused the 29-year-old of being disloyal to him, particularly after he vehemently backed him following two failed drug tests, which delayed his eventual meeting with Chris Eubank Jr.

UFC CEO, White mocked the Matchroom Chairman, claiming he could have matched their offer.

“Is there a bigger p**sy than Eddie Hearn?” the 56-year-old said.

Benn signed with Zuffa Boxing

“This guy’s supposed to be your friend.

“You’re f***ing crying, he made more money.

“He had the right to match it. He could have matched it.

“We’re literally beating up babies.”

Hearn hit back at White, claiming his rival lacks passion and care for the fighters on his roster.

“I am an emotional guy when it comes to what I do,” the 46-year-old told Boxing Social.

“If I get upset when I feel like someone’s betrayed me, I don’t think it makes me a p**sy, I just carry emotion towards what I do.

“Have you ever seen him make a prat out of himself like I do when someone wins? No, because all it is for him is a business.

“For me it’s a passion. It’s a business as well, but it’s something that I love.

“If a fighter goes against me like that, I am emotional.

“It doesn’t make me a p**sy, it just means I care.”

Benn will fight former two-time super lightweight world champion, Regis Prograis on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s comeback bout against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.

The clash will be contested at 150 pounds, 10 pounds lighter than the 160 pounds his fights with Eubank Jr were contested at.

‘The Destroyer’ was expected to headline the inaugural Zuffa UK show, but the bout lands on a Ring Magazine card at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the site of his two contests with Eubank Jr, the second of which he won after losing for the first time as a professional in April.
