PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past month in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: February 28th, 2026
1) ESPN Suggests Electric Trade Option for the Vikings: Giving the ground game a true home run hitter would be a nice development for the Vikings. How much easier would life be for the quarterback — whoever it ends up being — if the running back is able to chew up yards quickly?
2) Vikings Scoop Up a New Coach: More commonly, the news has involved seeing coaches leave. Crucially, those two realities — coaches leaving, coaches being brought aboard — are interconnected. The entire coaching staff is now complete.
3) Bruising Vikings Offensive Lineman Looks Like a Trade Candidate: Working in his favor is that he has youth and size. Does Walter Rouse still get to call Minnesota home, though? Quite possibly, he’ll be kept for a little while longer, but not dressing him for a good chunk of the season says a lot.
4) The Bad News Aaron Jones is Confronting with the Vikings: A younger, more productive runner landed a deal for less money per season. Is that bad news for Mr. Jones? At this stage, anything other than a straightforward cut would be a surprise. He’s a tremendous leader and good football player, but the contract isn’t excellent.
5) Vikings Could Have Dibs on Veteran QBs, Says Insider: Some of the shine appears to have worn off Kevin O’Connell. Something about last year’s disaster at quarterback will do that. Nevertheless, there remains huge appeal in operating from within a pass-first offense with Justin Jefferson as the top weapon.
Enjoy the extra reading, Vikings fans.
