In this hellacious season, there aren’t many fun memories or moments to enjoy. There are some, but they are few and far between. One of those moments was Taylor Raddysh’s hat trick against San Jose, one that came out of nowhere and accounts for 37.5% of Raddysh’s goals this season. It was an unexpected moment from a player that has been shifted to the fourth line and could be traded by the deadline. Raddysh hasn’t’ been bad for the Rangers, but he’s been overshadowed by the overall stink that is the New York Rangers.
If you like reliving some good moments like Taylor Raddysh‘s hat trick, then you should be following my YouTube channel (Note from Dave: You should. No ads, nothing. Just good videos. Give JL a like and a subscribe). I enjoy covering major events during the Rangers (and Mets) season and documenting how those moments are presented on different broadcast feeds. Even though the season hasn’t played out as expected, there are plenty of moments to capture, like Taylor Raddysh’s hat trick, among others that I have up there. \
Here’s how the moment sounded on MSG Networks with Kenny Albert and Dave Maloney, as well as the NBC Sports California call, with Randy Hahn and Drew Remenda. The goal of these videos is to chronicle the differences in the broadcasts’ sound and how each team approaches each moment. Hope you enjoy!
