Bike Fitter
We are currently seeking a Bike Fitter to join our team based in Burscough, Lancashire. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting bikes to customers of all levels, from beginner to professional. Ideally having previous experience of the cycling industry, in a retail environment would be beneficial, with an understanding of; Road, Track, Gravel and Triathlon cycling disciplines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fits and looking after customers who are looking to purchase new bikes. The bike fitter will work closely with the sales team to relay customers requirements and be responsible for looking after customer interactions throughout the process. Full training will be provided if required and the candidate will work closely with our current bike fitting and sales team. Experience in bike fitting is preferred but candidates with qualifications in Sports Science will also be considered.

They will have a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and strive to take the business forwards. This role is sales-focused and customer-facing: greeting customers, understanding their needs & recommending the right products is a key part of the role. The right candidate will be self motivated; seeking sales opportunities, following up and successfully closing the sale.
Lots of our products are technical, this person requires motivation and desire to learn and communicate every aspect of our products to our customer base, providing alternatives where possible. The roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to. Championing our company values to create a positive, high-performing culture. Ensure full compliance with legal, health, safety, and GDPR regulations. Oversee management of daily fabrication activities, bicycle assembly and general admin, ensuring production schedules align with customer orders and project deadlines. Drive business expansion by identifying new sales opportunities, taking ownership of inventory allocations and oversee sales order processing. Ensuring a smooth efficient process from order to fulfilment. Work with the sales team to analyse market trends, client, and competitor intelligence, and identify growth opportunities. Coordinate the movement of raw materials & finished goods while overseeing warehouse operations to ensure timely dispatch. Liaise daily with the finance team assessing cost control and provide financial reporting to other members of the senior team. Ensure the facility adheres to Health and Safety (HSE) legislation. Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of both office staff and fabrication teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Provide regular data-driven reports regarding operational performance and risk management.
