VENTURA, California — The Legacy Fighting Alliance returns to the California coast on Thursday, February 26th, with LFA 227: Nascimento vs. Kamikubo, live from the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California.
Headlining the card is a compelling bantamweight clash between longtime LFA standout Rafael “Mulisha” do Nascimento and Japanese veteran Shuya Kamikubo. Both athletes bring extensive experience and finishing ability into what promises to be a high-level main event matchup with divisional implications.
Presented by Monster Energy, LFA 227 will air LIVE across the United States on VICE TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Veteran MMA broadcaster Ron Kruck will handle play-by-play duties alongside former UFC lightweight title challenger Gilbert “El Niño” Melendez, providing expert analysis cageside.
The bantamweight headliner pits two seasoned competitors against one another in what many view as a pivotal bout in the 135-pound division. Kamikubo, known for his technical grappling and composure under pressure, faces do Nascimento, a proven LFA veteran recognized for his well-rounded attack and durability.
The co-main event also features bantamweight action as Allan Begosso squares off against Arnold Jimenez in another bout that could impact the division’s pecking order.
