Danish midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Nikolas Nartey, came off the bench on Sunday to score with a stunning finish for VfB Stuttgart in their 4-0 demolishing of VfL Wolfsburg.
The fit-again midfielder made the matchday squad of his team but missed out on a starting role.
In the 77th minute when Stuttgart were leading 3-0, Nikolas Nartey was introduced into the game to replace striker Deniz Undav and provide stability to the team.
With fresh energy, the midfielder caused a lot of problem for his team and equalized in the fifth minute of added time to wrap up a convincing 4-0 triumph for Stuttgart.
On the matchday, Stuttgart opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Deniz Undav reacted quickest to a loose ball inside the penalty area.
The home side doubled their advantage nine minutes later, with Leweling getting his first of the afternoon after a well-worked move carved open the Wolfsburg defence.
Leweling was not done yet. Just before the break, he capitalised on another rebound opportunity and unleashed a stunning effort from the edge of the area to complete his brace and effectively put the contest beyond reach.
The big win means Stuttgart finish the matchday, sitting fourth in the German Bundesliga standings.
