Action Items Update! Big Bend Under Attack by Trump Administration for Border Wall | The Radavist

Big Bend Border Wall:

One of Texas’s two National Parks, Big Bend, is at risk of losing extensive environmental protections so the Trump Administration can install the Border Wall. This includes Federal Land in Big Bend National Park and State Land in Big Bend State Park, a popular area for bike camping and mountain biking.

Marfa Public Radio reports that:

“Among the federal regulations to be waived for the project are the National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act and a variety of wildlife and historic resources protection laws.”

Similar attacks on Public Land for the Border Wall have taken place in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, the San Rafael Valley outside of Patagonia, Arizona, and countless acres of BLM land.
