Hailee Steinfeld, Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s wife, adds a major award to her resume.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, will soon welcome their first child together.
Allen and Steinfeld announced they were expecting in December and posted a sweet video showing off her pregnancy in the snow. The 29-year-old actress debuted her baby bump on the red carpet in a pink Prada dress at the Golden Globes in January.
Steinfeld returned to the big screen last year in the horror movie “Sinners.” The film not only became a major box office hit, but also an awards season favorite.

While Steinfeld didn’t score a Golden Globe nod for her role as Mary, “Sinners” racked up seven nominations, and she joined her fellow cast on stage after they won Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. “Sinners” also had a very successful night at the NAACP Image Awards on February 28, taking home 13 awards.
The film was a big winner at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA on March 1. Steinfeld was not in attendance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, which turned some heads after she received some incredible news.
‘Sinners’ won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the 2026 Actor Awards
“Sinners” had a huge night at the Actor Awards, taking home the marquee prize, Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Ryan Coogler made history as the first director ever to win the award twice. Coogler previously took home the honor for “Black Panther” in 2018.
Steinfeld, along with Michael B. Jordan, who won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, Delroy Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Omar Miller, and Buddy Guy, were part of the award-winning ensemble.
One fan noted Steinfeld absence on an Instagram video, “@haileesteinfeld omg is it timeee?” Another person posted on X, ‘Hailee Steinfeld not being up there :(.”
The “Sinners” cast beat out “Frankenstein,” “Hamnet,” “Marty Supreme” and “One Battle After Another.” All five of those films are up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards on March 15.
Allen cried the first time he watched “Sinners.” He explained on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” docuseries, “I was just so proud of her. I get emotional thinking about it, but it was a pretty cool experience.”

Following “Sinners” big success at the Actor Awards, the movie is now a frontrunner to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards. However, with Steinfeld sitting out the Actor Awards, it’s unclear if she’ll attend the Oscars as it seems her due date is nearing close.
Steinfeld and the 2024 league MVP are keeping things pretty low key as they prepare for the baby’s arrival. In the latest issue of her newsletter, Beau Society, she shared a photo outside on a blanket with Allen, as “just lying in the grass” is one of her favorite activities.
“I haven’t felt up for a whooole lot recently, but some days just walking in the backyard and lying down in the grass is everything I need: fresh air and sunshine,” she wrote. Steinfeld has reached the point in her pregnancy where she’s keeping her nails short, hair in a braid, and wearing sweatpants that look like jeans.
Steinfeld and the Bills star are are keeping it cozy inside the home, as well. They binge-watched the show “Steal” on Amazon Prime and rewatched a classic movie, “The Sound of Music.” When they make it out of the house for dinner, she indulges in her biggest pregnancy craving: shrimp.
