Cory Zero took one of the wildest bumps you’ll see all year — and it landed her in the hospital.
The French indie standout was powerbombed off a balcony during KHAO Wrestling’s Volume 1 event on March 1, in a jaw-dropping spot that immediately had fans fearing the worst. The move saw Thiago Montero launch Zero from the venue’s upper level down toward the floor, where a group below attempted to slow her fall.
It looked brutal. And it was serious enough to require medical attention. Not long after the event, Zero posted an update confirming she had been hospitalized — but she also made it clear she’s not done.
“Currently hospitalized”
“I’ll be fine”
She also thanked those involved in helping her during the incident, writing, “Thank you everyone and Khao’s staff”
Balcony bumps are always dangerous. Even with people below to break the fall, the margin for error is razor thin. This one pushed the limits — and it cost her a trip to the hospital. The good news? Zero says she’ll be fine.
Was this spot too much, or is this just the reality of independent wrestling trying to stand out? Drop your thoughts below.
