Marathon is almost here and, before it officially launches, its Server Slam Twitch Drops campaign gives us the chance to secure an early set of in-game cosmetic items for our characters and profiles.
Marathon Twitch Drops work similarly to those of other games you might have interacted with in the past. Watching certain Twitch streams for set amounts of time allows you to claim the current campaign’s rewards, which then become available to you in-game. Read on to learn how the whole process works for Bungie’s extraction shooter.
Marathon Twitch Drops
Marathon’s Server Slam Twitch Drops campaign rewards players who tune in to any stream of the extraction shooter with five different pieces of in-game rewards. To be extra certain, pick one with the DropsEnabled tag.
This Marathon Twitch Drops campaign started on February 26 and concludes on March 2, when the Server Slam test also ends. Here are the items offered while it’s live, as confirmed by the developer:
- Twitch Sponsored Kit, aka Standard in-game loot (Watch for 1 hour)
- Profile Emblem: SMILEYworm (Watch for 1 hour)
- Profile Background: WEAVEworm (Watch for 2 hours)
- Weapon Sticker: GLOWworm (Watch for 3 hours)
- Weapon Skin (Style): HMG Twitch Engine (Watch for 4 hours)
To become eligible for participation, you’ll need to make sure that your Bungie and Ubisoft accounts are linked. The rather simple process is covered in a dedicated article.
It’s important to remember to claim your Marathon Twitch Drops from the Drops Inventory menu once you obtain them. That is the only way you can get them to appear in-game. Progress towards each of them is tracked in your dashboard.
