Team Liquid BR parts ways with three Rainbow Six players following 2026 roster shake-up

Esports organisation Team Liquid has confirmed the departure of three of its Rainbow Six Siege players, marking a significant change to its Brazilian lineup.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Team Liquid BR announced it had said goodbye to Thiago ‘LENDA’ Torres, Lucas ‘DiasLucasBr’ Dias and Victor ‘Daffo’ Pedron, thanking the trio for their time representing the organisation.

“Today we say goodbye to players LENDA, DiasLucasBR and Dafo, who represented us in Rainbow Six. We thank them for all the dedication they put into the team and all the passion they showed on the server! We wish them good luck and much success in their future endeavors,” the translated post states.

The players had competed under Team Liquid’s banner in Rainbow Six Siege (R6), Ubisoft’s tactical first-person shooter title and one of the longest-running esports ecosystems in Brazil.

Throughout 2025, Team Liquid’s Brazilian R6 roster recorded several mid-table finishes across domestic and international competitions. The team placed 13th-16th at the Six Invitational 2025 in February, earning $55,000 (~£43,400). Later in the year, it secured ninth-16th at RE:L0:AD 2025, collecting $12,000 (~£9,480).

In regional competition, Team Liquid finished fifth in both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the South America League 2025. Its best regional result came in December, where it achieved fourth place at the South America League 2025 – Regional Finals, taking home $15,139 (~£11,950).

Most recently, on January 18th 2026, the team placed second in the Six Invitational 2026: South America Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ), falling short in a 2-1 series and missing out on qualification for the main event.

The roster changes follow the retirement of André ‘Nesk’ Oliveira, who stepped away from professional play earlier this year. As a result, Gabriel ‘Maia’ Maia is now the only remaining player from the previous lineup.

Team Liquid has not yet announced replacements for the departing players or outlined its plans for the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege season.

The organisation, founded in 2000, has maintained a presence in multiple esports titles, including Counter-Strike, League of Legends and VALORANT, alongside its long-standing involvement in Rainbow Six Siege. Brazil has historically been one of the most competitive regions in R6 esports, regularly producing teams capable of contending at international events such as the Six Invitational.

With three departures and a recent retirement, Team Liquid faces a rebuilding phase in one of its key regional divisions. Further announcements regarding the roster are expected ahead of the next South America League stage.
