LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND – London’s Joe ‘The Hunter’ Brooks etched his name into history by becoming the inaugural Total Kombat World Bantamweight Champion, but the celebrations were short-lived as a hungry contender immediately stepped into the spotlight.

Brooks Claims Gold in Main Event Thriller

Brooks headlined Total Kombat 3, which aired live and exclusively in the UK on ITVX, delivering a fast-paced striking showcase against Bahaa Kabil.

After three intense rounds, Brooks secured a unanimous decision victory. The Londoner came within millimeters of an emphatic finish when he unleashed a spinning wheel-kick that narrowly missed Kabil’s head — a strike that would have sealed a highlight-reel knockout.

Tais O’Donnell Crashes the Celebration

Before Brooks could fully enjoy his championship moment, rising contender Tais O’Donnell interrupted the post-fight interview to make his intentions crystal clear.

Earlier in the evening, O’Donnell stopped his opponent via TKO, improving to 3-0 in Total Kombat — with all three victories coming by KO or TKO.

“I want the first title shot,” he told Brooks.

The new champion didn’t hesitate in his response.

“This guy talks so much. We’re going to have to do it. He had a good performance earlier this evening but he’s got no chance of doing that to me. I will fight him any time.”

With both fighters exchanging words in the cage, a bantamweight title clash now feels inevitable.

Knockout of the Year Contender

O’Donnell wasn’t the only athlete to deliver fireworks in Liverpool. Dylan Ravenscroft produced what may already be a frontrunner for Knockout of the Year 2026, stopping Aidan Lennan with a thunderous head kick just 25 seconds into the opening round.

The sold-out crowd inside Liverpool Olympia erupted as Ravenscroft’s explosive finish instantly became one of the most talked-about moments of the night.

Michael “Venom” Page Praises the Action

UFC standout and Total Kombat co-owner Michael Page was cageside throughout the event and expressed his excitement about the promotion’s trajectory.

“I’m looking for the next superstar. Big kicks, big KO’s, high fliers – that’s what I am looking for and that’s what we’ve got here. The fights were amazing from start to finish. These guys are some of the best strikers on the planet,” he said.

CEO Lee Matthews Celebrates Another Success

Lee Matthews, Total Kombat CEO, celebrated another successful event.

“The action at Total Kombat 3 was amazing. We delivered a fantastic event for ITV viewers, our US viewers on FloSports and the 3,000 fans packed in to the sold-out Liverpool Olympia. This is the kind of action you can expect every single time from Total Kombat.”

With momentum building, Total Kombat has announced its next event will take place in Manchester, England in May, once again airing live and exclusively in the UK on ITVX. Additional details are expected soon.
