Spring Game Thread: Chicago Cubs vs Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds are back at home this afternoon as they welcome the Chicago Cubs to Goodyear, Arizona in a contest between the two National League Central foes. Today’s game will be available to watch on Reds.tv/MLB.tv. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05pm ET.

First pitch is set for 3:05pm ET. This game will be available on Reds.tv/MLB.tv. The game should be free for anyone as it’s the free game of the day on MLB.tv and in-market spring games are free to those in the Cincinnati Reds television market. We will also get the Reds broadcasters for this game (MLB.tv users may need to select the Reds broadcast). The first set of cuts

Today saw the team make their first set of cuts this spring, sending six players to the minor leagues. Cincinnati sent position players Cam Collier, Michael Toglia, Michael Chavis, and Connor Burns along with currently injured pitchers Joel Valdez and Carson Spires.
